Health Committee Chair Rapp to Convene Hearing on Effectiveness/Risks of COVID-19 Treatment Options
WHAT: PA House Health Committee Majority Chair Kathy Rapp (R-Warren/Crawford/Forest) will convene a public hearing to receive testimony regarding COVID-19 treatment options.
The hearing will feature presentations from Dr. Amesh Adalja, M.D., senior scholar, John Hopkins Center for Health Security; PA Physician General Dr. Denise Johnson; Dr. Pierre Kory, Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance; Lisa Robin, chief advocacy officer, Federation of State Medical Boards; Dr. Robert Schmidt, M.D., Penn Highlands Family Medicine; and Dr. Chaminie Wheeler, medical wellness consultant.
