Bloom Encouraged by Senate Support of Fiscally Responsible House Budget
12/23/2015
HARRISBURG – Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland) issued the following statement after the Senate’s bipartisan vote on the $30.2 billion spending plan passed by the House earlier this month:

“I am deeply encouraged by the bipartisan support in Pennsylvania Senate for the fair and reasonable budget we passed in the House earlier this month, which is now on its way to Gov. Tom Wolf’s desk. For the sake of Pennsylvania’s school children, vulnerable citizens and hard-pressed taxpayers, I respectfully urge him to sign this fiscally responsible budget immediately. There is no time to waste, people are desperate and it’s time for the governor to finally compromise and stop holding our most vulnerable citizens hostage to his unrealistic tax-hike schemes.”
