ERE Chairman Metcalfe to Convene Informational Meeting on Stream Maintenance, Clearing and Flooding Issues

WHAT:   PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Majority Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene an informational meeting to gather input on a package of legislation aimed at streamlining the permitting process to improve communities’ abilities to clear creeks and streams, prevent flooding, and minimize the risk to lives and property in the event of excessive rainfall. 

WHO:  In addition to several legislative prime sponsors, the hearing will feature presentations from Tioga County Commissioner Erick Coolidge; Delmar Township Supervisor Deven Martin; Bradford County Commissioner Daryl Miller; Johnny Painter, Painterland Farms; Phil Wood, Wood Family Farm; and Darrin Youker, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

WHEN:   Monday, April 25, at 9:30 a.m. 

WHERE:  Room G-50, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
