Gregory Named to 2023-24 Committees
HARRISBURG – Rep. Jim Gregory (R-Blair) has been assigned to serve on three standing House committees during the 2023-24 Legislative Session: Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Gaming Oversight and Human Services. The committees provide legislative oversight and help shape the language in bills that fall under their areas of responsibility.
“With just nine Republican members per committee, these are coveted positions. I’m thankful our leadership team has recognized the role I can play in tackling the important issues coming before these committees, including the matters that affect farm families in the 80th District and across the Commonwealth,” Gregory said.
In addition to the committees within the House, Gregory continues to serve in an unpaid leadership role on the Mental Health Matters: National Task Force on Workforce Mental Health Policy Committee hosted by the National Conference of State Legislatures in partnership with several other entities.
“The task force has been very active in exploring issues about how workers’ mental health affects our business climate,” Gregory said.
