At a meeting of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, Rep. Tina Pickett spoke in support of her bill to improve creek and stream maintenance in Pennsylvania. House Bill 2405 is included in an eight-bill package that would give local governments greater control of those efforts in order to prevent flooding. The committee approved the bills, which will next be considered by the full House of Representatives.
