Rep. Gillespie Comments on Divesting in Russian Energy

Mar. 30, 2022 / Embed

I joined a bi-partisan group of my colleagues in advancing two important measures. House Bill 2447 would require PA to divest its pension funds from investments that are connected to the Russian government and its key supporters. House Bill 663 would require the General Assembly’s approval before the Commonwealth can enter multi-state compacts such as the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), that would increase energy taxes on Pennsylvanians. We must invest in Pennsylvania energy and American energy independence.

Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee Advances Lawrence's Milk Bills

Mar. 30, 2022 / Embed

The House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, of which I am a member, advanced my legislation to help Pennsylvania’s struggling dairy farmers. House Bill 2397, which I sponsored, would put whole milk back on school lunch menu.
