Unemployment compensation (UC) claims remain the number one issue being dealt with by House members' district offices, and it's been that way since just after the COVID-19 pandemic began. During the March 2, afternoon House Appropriations Committee budget hearing, state Rep. Jim Struzzi (R-Indiana) had the opportunity to question Department of Labor and Industry Secretary Jennifer Berrier about how her office is handling UC claims.
