Culver Discusses Senior Centers During Budget Hearing

Many members of our community depend on senior centers for vital services like meals and socialization. The COVID-19 pandemic forced them to close and the Department of Aging made a change in the way these centers were supported. During a Tuesday, Feb. 15 House Appropriations Committee budget hearing, state Rep. Lynda Culver (R-Northumberland/Snyder) asked members of the department about that change and whether or not pre-pandemic funding opportunities would resume.
