The House State Government Committee, of which I am a member, advanced legislation I co-prime-sponsored, that would require the Commonwealth and each county to perform post-election audits after each election using an approved auditing method. House Bill 1482 aims to strengthen election security and integrity, confirm the accuracy of election outcomes and provide confidence to voters that their votes are being counted accurately.
