The House State Government Committee held two hearings on public pension system trends and policy considerations. This is the first of two hearings. Led by the Subcommittee on Public Pensions, Benefits, and Risk Management, the hearings are intended to inform legislators and the public of what is happening in Pennsylvania’s public pension systems, analyze the best practices used in the nation, and discuss options for improving the overall performance of Pennsylvania’s systems. The Subcommittee is led by Rep. Brett R. Miller (R-Lancaster).
