Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne) is the prime sponsor of legislation that would officially recognize certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) in Pennsylvania. She spoke in support of the legislation at a meeting of the House Professional Licensure Committee, which subsequently approved it by a unanimous vote. The bill was then sent to the full House for consideration.
