At a meeting of the Subcommittee on Tax Modernization and Reform of which I am a member, I appreciated hearing from the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs about current issues they’re dealing with and how they impact our commonwealth and citizens. Pennsylvania’s tax policies are overwhelmingly complex and create significant problems for so many citizens. We are working diligently to simplify our tax structure, reduce costs and reduce redundancy.
