PA’s Child Care Centers Need State Support

As a mom and the Republican chair of the House Children and Youth Committee, I have grave concerns about the well-being of child care centers in Pennsylvania. During a budget hearing with the Department of Human Services, I had the opportunity to discuss child care issues with Secretary Valerie Arkoosh. Unfortunately, I walked away with more questions than answers about how the state is planning to help these critical centers for our kids and families.
