The House has considered many resolutions this session that dedicate a specific day or month to a certain religious group, disease or person. This forces people to choose what groups they identify with and distract from what we all truly are, Americans and Pennsylvanians.
House Resolutions are Not Bills

Resolutions have been dominating conversation in the statehouse. These are feel-good proclamations that designate a day or month in honor of a specific group or person. I have been voting and will continue to vote “no” on all resolutions that do not honor law enforcement or veterans. These men and women who sacrificed for our Commonwealth and country deserve that recognition. All other topics, in my opinion, do not fall under the purview of government.
