I offered an amendment to House Bill 2202, a bill that would establish the “Minority Business Development Fund.” This legislation would benefit a specific set of minority groups, while excluding veterans; first responders; farmers; stay-at-home parents; retired law enforcement officers; recent graduates of career and tech schools; Native Americans and indigenous groups, and more. Sadly, House Democrats blocked my amendment and prevented these Pennsylvanians from accessing the program their own tax dollars are paying for.
