Delozier Speaks on Crime Victims’ Rights, Marsy’s Law

In 2019, we worked very hard to put Marsy's Law in front of the voters. This would have amended our state Constitution to enshrine crime victims’ rights. Over 70% of voters supported Marsy's Law, and it was a blow to those victims when our state Supreme Court legislated from the bench and denied that opportunity. In the years since, the Legislature has been successful in implementing pieces of Marsy’s Law, which has strengthened the victims’ voices in the Commonwealth.
