WHAT:   The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie), will hold a voting meeting to consider four proposals on a variety of education topics. They include measures that would permit charter schools and area career and technical schools to enter into dual enrollment agreements with institutions of higher learning (House Bill 358); create the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Investment Incentive Program (House Bill 602); require CTE certifications on high school student transcripts (House Bill 1013); and require a school district to permit a home school student to participate in co-curriculum activities and area career and technical education programs (House Bill 1041).
