WHAT:   Rep. Bob Brooks (R-Allegheny/Westmoreland), subcommittee chairman on financial services and banking under House Commerce Committee Chairman Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie), will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed legislation on remote mortgage banking.

WHO:   Brooks, Roae and members of the committee. Testifiers before the committee will include Paul Wentzel, executive assistant and senior legislative director, Department of Banking and Securities; Leonard Bernstein, co-chairman, financial services regulatory team, Mortgage Bankers Association of Pennsylvania; and David Fifer, director of state government and external affairs, Rock Central (Rocket Mortgage).
