WHAT:   PA House Environmental Resources and Energy (ERE) Committee Majority Chairman Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will convene a public hearing to receive testimony on the benefits, challenges and economics of rare earth mineral extraction.

WHO:  The hearing will feature presentations from Gale Blackmer, Ph.D., director, Bureau of Geological Survey, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; Anthony Marchese, chairman, Texas Mineral Resources Corporation; Zeke Moskowitz, chief executive officer, Synergos Holdings; James Taylor, president and Linnea Lueken, research fellow, The Heartland Institute; Sarma Pisupati, Ph.D., director, Penn State University Center for Critical Minerals; and Pete Rozelle, Ph.D., advisor, Penn State University College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, and retired program manager, U.S. Department of Energy.

WHERE:  Room G-50, Irvis Office Building, State Capitol Complex, Harrisburg.
