HARRISBURG – Improvements to the state’s transportation infrastructure, the value of the state’s shipping ports and efforts to boost driver safety are featured on the January edition of Rep. Kate Harper’s (R-Montgomery) Legislative Report television show.
The 30-minute program features a discussion with the majority and minority chairmen of the House Transportation Committee, Reps. John Taylor and Bill Keller, both of Philadelphia. The trio discuss the important role Philadelphia’s ports play in the economy and the state’s transportation infrastructure, as well as the steady progress being made on fixing the state’s roads and bridges thanks to the passage of Act 89 of 2013, a major transportation funding package. They also discuss a number of transportation safety issues, including DUI prevention and work zone safety.
The 30-minute program airs as follows:
• Comcast Cable On Demand.
• Colonial School District, Comcast Channel 28 and Verizon Channel 28 – Airs Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• Plymouth Township, Comcast Channel 22 and Verizon Channel 43 – Airs daily at 2 a.m., 5 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
The program is also provided to Brittany Pointe Estates, Foulkeways at Gwynedd, Normandy Farms Estates and Dock Woods for airing within their communities.
