WHAT: The House Education Committee, chaired by Rep. Curt Sonney (R-Erie), will hold a voting meeting to consider four proposals on a variety of education topics. They include measures that would provide for school-based behavioral health assistance (
House Bill 2022); provide for behavioral health awareness education (
House Bill 2023); provide for mental health instruction study (
House Bill 2024); and prohibit scholarship displacement at public institutions of higher education under certain circumstances (
House Bill 2255).
