WHAT: Rep. Seth Grove (R-Dover) will bring together school officials in continuing to spearhead legislative efforts to both reform and increase funding for the school construction reimbursement process. Grove has sponsored House Bill 210 to replace PlanCon (also known as the “Planning Construction Workbook”) with a new system called ArcCon, which stands for the “Accountability and Reducing Costs in Construction Process.”

WHO: Grove; House Education Chairman Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion); Sen. John Eichelberger (R-Blair), author of corresponding Senate legislation; and officials from various organizations, including the Pennsylvania School Business Officials Association (PASBO), Pennsylvania School Boards Association, Pennsylvania chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA-PA), and the following school districts: Williamsport Area, Lewisburg and Southern Columbia.
