WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will guide the committee in a vote on a number of emergency services bills including:
House Bill 824, which would protect the confidential information of public safety officials. This bill was amended in the committee on May 6.
House Bill 339, which would provide EMS reimbursement for triage/non-transport.
House Bill 347, which would provide for emergency medical service system direct payment for services.
House Bill 62, which would increase the fire/emergency medical service grant program merger provision from the current five years to 10 years.
