WHAT: Rep. Rob Kauffman (R-Franklin), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, will lead the committee on a vote of the following House bills:
•
House Bill 360 (Rep. Jesse Topper, R-Bedford/Franklin/Fulton): Would amend current statute to prohibit the issuance of a marriage license to anyone under the age of 18.
•
House Bill 365 (Rep. Martina White, R-Philadelphia): Would add a new section to the Crimes Code dealing with residential “squatters.”
•
House Bill 1402 (Rep. Tedd Nesbit, R-Butler/Mercer): Would amend the state’s Crimes Code to create the offense of sexual extortion.
