WHAT: House Commerce Committee Chairman Brian Ellis (R-Butler) and Rep. Mike Driscoll (D-Philadelphia) will announce two pieces of legislation, one to amend the Breach of Personal Information Notification Act and the other to amend the Credit Reporting Agency Act. These bills each seek to assist Pennsylvania consumers affected by data breaches. Attorney General Josh Shapiro will join Ellis, Driscoll and others to provide details about the needs for such laws in Pennsylvania.
