HARRISBURG – The $42.8 billion budget passed this week by the House helps vulnerable Pennsylvanians by expanding the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program for older and disabled adults, investing in energy assistance for low-income families, making historic investments in Pre-K Counts and Head Start, and creating a child care tax credit at the state level, according to Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer) announced today that the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) awarded nearly $6,400 in funding to Girard Borough, Erie County, to preserve and maintain Pennsylvania’s history. The money comes from the Keystone Historic Preservation (KHP) Grant Program.
