HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jeff Pyle (R-Armstrong/Indiana/Butler) voted in favor of emergency funding legislation for schools and vital human services across the state. The legislation, Senate Bills 1000 and 1001, would provide four months of funding for government operations applied retroactively to the beginning of the fiscal year July 1 through Oct. 31.

HARRISBURG – To help struggling social services and school districts, Rep. Sheryl Delozier (R-Cumberland) today voted to send an emergency funding package to the governor’s desk. The package allows state and federal dollars to reach their intended recipients, retroactively to July 1 and carrying through to Oct. 31. The legislation, Senate Bill 1000, includes state appropriations of over $11 billion and releases over $24 billion in federal funds. The appropriations would be applied retroactively to fund government operations from July 1 to October 31.
