HARRISBURG – Rep. Keith J. Greiner (R-Lancaster) today announced that he has introduced legislation that would make the ignition interlock program mandatory for certain first-time DUI offenders and, in those cases where the interlock program is applied, reduce driver’s license suspension requirements.

HARRISBURG – The House Education Committee today in Harrisburg approved a bill introduced by state Rep. Mark Gillen (R-Berks/Lancaster) known as “Eileen’s Law” that would give judges more flexibility in penalizing parents convicted in school truancy cases.

HARRISBURG – As a way to honor the contributions of the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) and its 20 years of gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the state House today approved a resolution authored by Rep. HARRISBURG – Rep. Chris Ross (R-Chester), who was recently elected to his 10th term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, has been named chairman of the House Liquor Control Committee for the 2015-16 legislative session. The House made history last session when it passed liquor privatization legislation, but the Senate failed to act on the measure. Ross expects privatization to come up again this session.
